Although I have been on Corinne's Fire Dept for almost 2 years now, this is the first year I have been able to participate in the Corinne City Independence Day Celebrations. The day began early with the sunrise flag ceremony followed by a pancake breakfast prepared by the city council. Next was the parade, water fight and BBQ at the city park. All of which the fire dept was in charge of. Overall, it was a fun morning!
I then headed to Malad with Grandma. As much as I want to travel around the country and live outside of Utah for a while, I am glad that I still live within driving distance of home. It's always nice to go home. We had a nice BBQ with Kenny, DiAnn, Carol and Emily. And enjoyed watching the fireworks in town after. Malad always does a pretty good job with the fireworks (considering it's a small town show).
