Baby Shower!

On July 5th was our baby shower for Shelana & Tyson.  

That morning I was in frantic mode...hoping everything would come together...I knew it was going to to be a small party but I wanted it to be an enjoyable, memorable and fun evening for Shelana.  How grateful I was when all was said and done that the shower was a success.  Shelana and Tyson received many gifts that will help immensely in the days leading up to the birth of their new little one and the days after.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, the games and the company.  

Thank you Heather for helping with the gifts, decorations and for making the chocolate covered strawberries (which happen to be Shelana's favorite!).  Heather also prepared an activity of writing sayings on baby diapers that Tyson and Shelana will be able to read and laugh at when they are up in the middle of the night changing the baby's diaper.   

Thanks to Shantel for taking care of the food.  She prepared 3 different kinds of "tea" sandwiches.  Tomato and cheese, chicken salad and tuna cucumber.  There was also a fruit and vegetable platter with dips, chips, a blue drink and our family favorite sherbet drink.  She also prepare the baby food guessing game, which was was entertaining. 

Thank you Krystal for helping set up the decorations, making the lanterns, taking pictures and for the colored safety pin guessing game.  

Thank you Nicole for helping with the desserts including the dipped Oreos with sprinkles on a pop stick, preparing the prizes for the games and also making the party favors.  The guess what the Mom-to-be is thinking game was also fun! 

Thank you Carol (Shelana's mom) for the cute banner, the puff ball decorations and the party favors.  So cute! Turned out so nice!   

Thanks Mom for the balloon decorations and helping fill in ALL the gaps!  

Congratulations Tyson & Shelana!  We are excited to meet the new addition to your family soon!
