If anyone has been watching my blog recently, you will have probably noticed that on several occasions i have changed the background, changed the colors, changed the pictures...oh bother. but perhaps you have not noticed...because i didn't give you enough time to notice. It seems that i changed something within 24 hours of changing the previous characteristic i no longer cared for.
As I'm making the final touches tonight I'm thinking to myself, "I'm not going to change this again for a while." Knowing full well in a few days i will look it at and be displeased with something or other and change it again to something i think i like better right then.
My train of thoughts then follows: i have been this way my whole life! if i don't like something, i changed it, do it over and over till i do like it. Papers or talks i would write over (starting from scratch, of course) three or four times till it seemed to be as perfect as my mortal self was capable of...
For someone who claims to prefer consistency in my life i sure change things around quite a bit!
In middle school and high school, i was constantly changing my bedroom around...something new... to give myself a little variety....
....I don't like to claim favorites for this very reason...i want something new and different every once in a while....don't want to get stuck in a ruddy habit of choosing "my favorite" all the time...
...as dad would put it, "...you need culture in your life..."
reflecting on the past...it's fair to say I like variety & choices...
...looking forward to a few weeks and months from now...my life will be full again of change...However, now I'm asking myself, "Am I ready?"
"come what may & love it"
I am ready!

Good for you Tahsha! I always like what I see, and the one constant thing in life is change. If you can see the need before it's even pointed out, all the better. It's good to challenge yourself and situations to become better through change.
I think next time you go eat at a Mexican restaurant you should not get a chimichanga and get something completely different, something new. :) Love you!
