It's late, or early (2 am) but while I'm waiting to switch my laundry, I thought I'd write a little about today.
Monday Morning: The day started off with a few laps at the pool after which Krystal and I each taught two classes. My 9:30 am class is wonderful. My 10:30 am class has 5 - 5 year olds'. I think that alone speaks for itself. It's a little bit of a challenge.
After teaching swim lessons, Krystal and I hurried home to get ready for Minnetonka caves & Bear Lake. Well, when it came time to leave, Carson couldn't find his shoes and Landon was distracted by the wii preventing him from finding a clean shirt and pants and Nicole decided to wash her hair right then. Needless to say, it took a little longer to get out the door then I had previously anticipated.
We finally made it to Grandmas where we met up with Justin. I had a few personal errands to do while I was in town, I also needed to pick up Grandma's medications and some groceries for her before we left and prepare our lunch for Bear Lake.
We left Corinne a little after 5pm - a lot later than I had originally planned. On our way to Bear Lake, we dropped my car off in Logan to be worked on at the car mechanics, thus delaying us even more. So no Minnetonka caves today. Maybe next week?
Then to Bear Lake! We stayed for only a couple of hours but it was fun! We were all starving when we got there, so first we had lunch/dinner. Justin had made everyone sandwiches. We also had a vegetable tray, chips, drinks, cookies and licorice. Justin and I played volleyball for a little bit while the other kids swam in the water. The other kids loved it, even Geir who came with us enjoyed it. As you can see in the pictures one can go out quite far before you get to the point where you can't touch anymore. The water temperature was a little cool, but not bad once you got used to it, pleasant on a hot day.
Of course you can't leave Bear Lake without a raspberry shake. So we stopped at my favorite restaurant in town, The Home Town Drive In, and ordered a raspberry shake (Justin broke the tradition and ordered Reece's for himself instead, but it's okay).
We met up with Geir in Tremonton (He drove his truck to and from Bear Lake) and everyone (except Geir, of course) squished into Justin's car. It was a cozy ride home. It was a little after midnight now. Overall, a productive and good day.

Moral of the story - things don't happen the way you plan them.
