Not in particular...I liked all the children's books we had, especially the ones with princesses.

Usually Dad pulled our teeth when they were loose - however I pulled out my very first loose tooth on my own and I tried to hide it because I thought my parents would be mad. My brother Tyson snitched on me and my parents found out. For those first few teeth we were lucky if the tooth fairy left a quarter or two, but as we got older, it turned into a dollar or two.

What did you do on Valentine's Day? Did you make your own valentines? How did you deliver them? Did you have valentine box at school?
Mom & Dad would set out a big valentine the night before for all the kids on the kitchen table and we would wake up to find it. Mom usually bought our valentines from the store and it depended on the year when and where we made our valentine box, but it was usually at school. We just delivered them during school.
What did you do on Easter? Did you dye eggs and hide baskets?
The night before dye Easter eggs and set our Easter baskets out so the Easter bunny would come and fill it with candy for the next day which was Easter.
What did you do on the fourth of July? did you set off your own fireworks? Did you have a barbecue or picnic?
It seems to be a little different every year, but usually we'd have some sort of bbq and then Dad would light off fireworks for us. Some years we traveled to see the big ones. Since we moved to malad, we just watch their firework show and do our own afterwards.
What did you do on Halloween? What did you wear for costumes? Did you make your own or buy them from the store?
Our costumes were whatever Mom and Dad got us from the store. I was usually a witch. One year I remember my Dad making a mask for Tyson and I to wear. He painted it and did all sorts of things to it, but I wouldn't wear it because I didn't like to way the glue to hold on the mask felt on my face. For many years we would go trick or treating with my cousin geir. It seemed like we went to every single house in the neighborhood. Then when we came home, Mom and Dad would check all our candy before we could have any. What good parents!
On Halloween, did you play tricks on anyone, or vice versa? Did you go trick or treating?
See above - no tricks on anyone (that's for April fool's day)

Depended on the year but mostly Christmas eve at Grandma T's in Salt Lake. Some years we would spend the night, other years we went back home. Mom and Dad would have us count the houses that had Christmas lights on them and watch the sky for Rudolf & Santa. Christmas morning we could open our gifts in the stockings before Mom and Dad got up, then we had to wait. After they woke up we could open our gifts from Santa. We "played" with those for a while, have Christmas breakfast that my Dad usually makes, then afterwards a little later in the day we would open our gifts from each other. Then to grandma and grandpa's for dinner.
On Christmas, what time did you get up in the morning?
Oh right after Santa left we were up.
