Round 2 in the Chair

After working the grave shift last night, I stopped at home, brushed my teeth and hair, touched up my make up (even though it didn't really seem to help, I still looked really tired)and headed to the dentist office. I wish I was more of a morning person...maybe once I'm not a college student anymore...maybe...

So, I'm back in the chair. For today I think the dentist deserves an award--four fillings in 90 min--that has to be a record somewhere. Originally it was just three...but as he got working he noticed one more cavity. He asked me if he could fill it and it would be free of charge. I was impressed and humbled by the dentist's generosity. As I was walking out the door the receptionist called me over to let me in on a secret. The dentist had decided to give me 20% on the dental work we've been doing. I was astonished! I don't have much dental benefit on the insurance left over from the wisdom teeth and the root canal for this year so most everything beyond this point is coming out of pocket...which can kinda hurt a little bit. Fortunately, Mom and Dad have offered to help me out here. Dentist work is expensive but in the long run worth it.

Round 3 begins April 21st at noon. I'm grateful for a little break to let my mouth rest.
