Today...I had, yes, another dentist appointment. However, this is the last of the root canal series. The dentist and I are becoming good friends. We may even have a business deal for the summer. His wife owns a swim supply shop here in town and I'll need swim supplies in the summer!
If I were to rate the visit today I would give it a 8 out of 10. No numbing of the mouth, no drilling or sticking a million sticks and tubes in my mouth at the same time and gratefully the sucky thing was under control. They were quick....about a half hour is all the time they needed to get the job done. They removed the temp and put on the crown. I was sorely disappointed to see that the crown was silver and not white, but at least it's not rotting away, right?
My dentist visit saga will continue next week with a dental cleaning, a couple of fillings, and something else with a tooth that has a lot of fillings already. Prayers are always welcome and appreciated in my behalf and the dentist's behalf! Just kidding!
