Coeur d'Alene, IDFor 4th of July weekend I spent time in Coeur d'Alene (top of the map) with Justin and his family (Steve -Dad, Jenny - Sister, Sam- brother-in-law, Will- Nephew). I had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. I've posted a few pictures from the holiday weekend.
This picture was taken from the top deck of the lake house. It's looking north, I think???

On lake Anderson there is a rock/cliff that Justin jumped off of. He warmed up with the lower ledge and then moved on to the higher ledge.
Sorry that the video is sideways. I can't fingure out how to rotate it. It's still fun to watch though.
Justin looks so relaxed in this picture. Justin and I satin the bow for the boat ride, a good place to be.

On our way home, we stopped for ice cream.
I learned that the best kind is huckleberry in a waffle cone.

The 2-man tube. As I held on for dear life, Justin put his arms up in the air and reassured me that this was a gentle ride. I wasn't so sure, but had a good time.
Now we're back at the house...just jumping into the lake.Everytime I jumped in the cold water it took my breath away.
I guess I'm a little more comfortabe with 95 degree water from the hot springs.

Another beautiful view from the deck.I had a wonderful weekend. It was so good to see Justin and to get to know Jenny, Sam, Will and Steve better. I want to thank them for their generous hospitality and kindness.

I am so jealous! The lakehouse in Coeur d' Alene is truly my 'Happy Place'. Isn't it so beautiful there? You know, James proposed to me on the top of the loop hike... on July 5th. That picture of you & Justin gave me some serious deja-vu. :)
